What changes the job in North York Centre

  • Almost entirely high-rise (92% of dwellings): concrete slabs, elevator bookings and condo management sign-off shape nearly every job.
  • A large share of the stock was built from 1991 to 2005 (57.7% in Yonge-Doris), so many suites are now about 21 to 35 years old.
  • Mostly one-bedroom units, so jobs are small in area per suite.
  • The development pipeline (13,750 units proposed or under construction in June 2023) means a steady flow of newly completed suites.
