Who we are
A family of floor people.
We started in handmade rugs and never left the floor. The same eye we used for rugs now picks the hardwood, vinyl and laminate we supply and install.

Handmade rugs
The family starts weaving rugs by hand.

Exporting
The workshop grows into an export business, shipping handmade rugs abroad.

The export business closes
The family keeps the trade.

Toronto
The family moves to Toronto and reopens, selling floor coverings at retail.

From retail to wholesale
The business grows into wholesale, with a warehouse of its own.

Floorrable opens
The next generation moves from rugs to hardwood, vinyl and laminate, with a showroom in Etobicoke and a focus on condo buildings.

Every floor we sell is on display at 315A Humberline Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5T6, by appointment. Book a time on the showroom page.
One person, start to finish
The person who prices your estimate is the one who measures, books the installer and walks the finished floor with you.
Installers checked before every job
Each installer uploads their liability insurance certificate, WSIB clearance and business registration through the Floorrable Trades gate, and cannot be assigned a job while any of them is missing or has lapsed.
The Floorrable standard
Built to live on.
Every installer signs the same task list before a job, and the portal will not close the job until each item is true.
Subfloor checked first
Level, moisture and soundness are checked once the old floor is up, before anything goes over it. Anything found there is priced and only done with your written OK.
To the manufacturer's specification
Expansion gaps and transitions are fitted to the specification the warranty depends on, and the site is cleaned with offcuts and packaging removed.
Photographed before, during and after
At least 4 shots before, 2 during and 4 after, including the bare subfloor and the underlay before the planks cover it. A job does not close without them.
