Your information, handled plainly.

When you request an estimate, contact us, or apply to one of our programs, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, phone number, project address, details about your project (property type, size, floor preferences, timeline), and any message or photo you choose to include. If you allow performance cookies, we also collect standard usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate location). See Cookies below.

When you sign a quote we record the date and time, the name you typed, the IP address and the browser you signed from, because that is what makes an electronic signature stand up.

When we install, the installer photographs the work before, during and after (the rooms, the bare subfloor, the underlay and the finished floor) and uploads the photographs to our system as the record of the job. They are seen by the Floorrable team and the installer on that job, and are shared outside Floorrable only to answer a warranty, insurance or building-approval question about your floor, or where the law requires it.

We use your information for one purpose: responding to your request and delivering our flooring service (preparing your estimate, checking your building's requirements, scheduling measurements and installation, and keeping in touch about your project). We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Form submissions are stored securely with our service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery) and, only if you allow performance cookies, Google Analytics (usage statistics). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Canada.

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and secure. Functional cookies (remembering saved floors and estimate progress between visits) and performance cookies (Google Analytics and our own visit counter) run only if you allow them, and we don't use advertising or retargeting cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists each one, what it does and how long it lasts. You can change your choices any time in Cookie settings.

If you hold a Floorrable Partners or Floorrable Trades account, we also collect what you tell us when you set it up: your business details, the answers to our questions, and the documents we ask for, such as an insurance certificate, a WSIB clearance, a business registration or a RECO registration. We keep the date you signed our agreement, the version you were shown, and the network details recorded at the time, because that is what makes an electronic signature stand up.

Those documents are stored privately and are opened only by the Floorrable team, to check that you are who you say you are and that your cover is current. We do not publish them, sell them, or share them with anyone outside Floorrable without asking you first, unless the law requires it. Every change made to your account is logged with what it was before, so both of us can see what happened and when.

We keep account records for as long as you hold an account, and for seven years afterwards, which is how long tax and liability records generally need to be available. You can ask to see or correct anything we hold at any time.

We keep project and contact records, including the job photographs and the signing record, for as long as they are useful for serving you, including warranty support after an installation. If you would like your information removed sooner, just ask.

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@floorrable.com and we'll take care of it.
